Auro-3D will be enabled free of charge via a future firmware update. Marantz's own Hdam technology combines elements of discreet circuit cards with ultra broadband response for a wider sound field and more refined music reproduction. The Marantz AV8805 is future-proof with the latest HDMI and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all eight HDMI inputs. The AV8805 supports 4K Ultra HD 60HZ video, 4: 4: 4 pure color sub-Sampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR), 21: 9 Video, 3D and BT.2020 Passthrough Support on every entrance. He is compatible with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players, Set-Topboxes and other 4K Ultra HD sources. Dolby Vision compatibility, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), the new HDR format for Broadcasting and Passthrough are also supported.
Advanced 32-bit D/A conversion on all channels
In addition to the premium 32-bit DACThe AV8805 also offers XLR-in and outputs on all channels. There is a balanced XLR-star input that can be assigned as well as 15.2 balanced XLR outputs, including the two subwoofer-Exuits and the height/width channels on the front and the overhead channels.

The AV8805 contains Marantz's own newest Hdam components (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) that consist of discreet circuit cards on a compact sub-Bord, together with ultra broadband response (100 kHz, -3 dB) for a wide sound field with refined detailed production.
