The H390 is not just for the audiophile. It is a product that the whole family can enjoy. The heart of the H390 is Hegels patented Soundengine 2 amplifier section. The Soundengine 2 works in many ways as headphones with noise reduction. A computer inside will sampling what comes in the amplifier and compare this with what comes out. The computer subtracts the difference (distortion) and adds it to the music, but in the opposite phase. The result is that the Soundengine, without any time delay, cancel almost all the opponent errors. Leave yourself with the most musical and natural sound that you have ever experienced.
Then there is digital. If you do not use a record player, you will probably use digital connections. Hegel Designs both the analogue and the digital part of, the ground off and in the house. The digital part in the H390 is unique because, regardless of the signal type or the entrance, the music signal remains unchanged and is not tampered with in the H390. We call it a "bit perfect" DA converter. This is digital in its purest form. For those who are interested in deep technology, we even design digital clocks that follow the sampling frequency in music and "downclock" upon receipt of a file with a low resolution. For the non-technician, the result is a much more natural and "analog" sound, as well as an incredible soundstage and realism.
After all, let's talk about connectivity. The H390 has Apple AirPlay and UPNP streaming. We offer free updates with services such as Spotify Connect, IP Control and Control4. It supports most audio formats such as DSD and MQA. All inputs are configurable for Volume bypass, so that you can integrate them in a home cinema or with a Bluesound Or Sonos. Almost whatever you want, you can do it with the H390.
The H390 is a complete product. Great care is taken on every step of the design. From carefully selecting and matching components to the use of the best measuring equipment in the world, in combination with our own ears. Real people gave us input about how they would like to use a stereo system. You can connect almost everything you want. We call it Robin Hood because it gets strengths from our reference products and offers at a lower price.
