Focal was founded in 1979 in Saint Etienne and is to date the most important and innovative speaker manufacturer of France. Loudspeaker manufacturer is you when you design and manufacture everything yourself. That in contrast to so -called manufacturers who compile only a product with purchased materials. The result of being a "real" manufacturer is that everything fits perfectly. It's not for nothing that the sound of Focal is known for the lowest distortion and the highest "intelligibility". Something that is only feasible with full control over each part.
