Our flagship in the field of center channel speakers is equipped with a carbon dome driver in a tweeter-on-top housing, a continuum-conus fst ™ midrange driver of 130 mm (especially important for the intelligibility of conversations) and two aerofail ™ profile bass conuses . The perfect partner for the 705 S3, 703 S3 and 702 S3.
Uncompromising
The HTM71 S3 is equipped with tweeter-on-top technology. This allows it to be perfectly integrated with similar models from the 700 series in a surround sound system.
A house for high frequencies
The 700 series is equipped with the newest generation of iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-top housing. The new, more elongated shape contains a longer tube load system to produce an even freer and more open sound with high frequencies. The carefully disconnected housing is milled from one solid block aluminum to be more resistant to resonance.
Sharper details
Carbon Dome-Tweeters are specially made for the 700 series. These tweeters are a significant improvement compared to the aluminum Double Dome tweeter with a break-up ceiling of 47 kHz for accurate and detailed sound quality.
Really beautiful sound
Thanks to the composite construction, the Continuum ™ Conus avoids the abrupt transitions that can influence the performance of a traditional driver. The result is a more open, neutral representation that transfers voices and instruments with precision and transparency.
Loud and clear
Every three-way speaker of the new 700 series has a special Midrange Conus, equipped with four important Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum Conus, FST ™, Biomimetic Suspension and disconnected midrange. The latter causes minimal disruption due to the bass drivers.
A triumph of science
The Aerofoil ™ Profile-Basconus has been developed with the help of advanced computer models and has a variable thickness. This makes it firm in the places where this is the most needed. The result: a deep and dynamic bass sound.
